Credentials and Staff Qualifications
East Bay Therapy (EBT) has over 20 speech-language pathologists and speech-language pathology assistants providing services.
All of East Bay Therapy's speech-language pathologists
- Hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) or are in their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) working toward their CCC
- Are licensed by the State of California's Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Board
- Hold a master's degree in Communication Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program
Several of East Bay Therapy's speech-language pathologists have training in specialized programs which include
- Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS)
- Lindamood-Bell Visualizing and Verbalizing Program
- Lindamood Phoneme Sequencing (LiPS) Program
- Barton Reading and Spelling System
EBT also has speech-language pathologists with additional certifications and credentials including
- California Rehabilitative Services Credential
- Board certification in Neurologic Communication Disorders in Adults by the Academy of Neurologic Communication Disorders and Sciences
