Credentials and Staff Qualifications

East Bay Therapy (EBT) has over 20 speech-language pathologists and speech-language pathology assistants providing services.

All of East Bay Therapy's speech-language pathologists

• Hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) or are in their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) working toward their CCC
• Are licensed by the State of California's Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Board
• Hold a master's degree in Communication Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program

Several of East Bay Therapy's speech-language pathologists have training in specialized programs which include

• Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS)
• Lindamood-Bell Visualizing and Verbalizing Program
• Lindamood Phoneme Sequencing (LiPS) Program
• Barton Reading and Spelling System

EBT also has speech-language pathologists with additional certifications and credentials including

• California Rehabilitative Services Credential
• Board certification in Neurologic Communication Disorders in Adults by the Academy of Neurologic Communication Disorders and Sciences
