Speech-Language Pathologist
East Bay Therapy works with individuals, individual schools, school districts, county agencies and acute and subacute medical settings serving clients from toddlers to geriatric populations.
East Bay Therapy is currently interviewing for full- and part-time positions in the following settings:
- Preschool
- Elementary schools
- Middle schools
- High schools
- Clinic
CFY supervision is available.
Positions are located in various communities in the East Bay area from Pleasanton to Berkeley to Napa.
Duties/Responsibilities include:
- Assessment of client abilities and needs, and appropriate service recommendations
- Development of therapy programs with both short and long-term goals
- Communication with supervisors as well as outside agency administrators, professionals, clients and families
- Written communication including assessment reports and progress updates to report on assessment findings and progress toward goals
- Maintain positive professional and interpersonal communication
- Provide inservices and training to other disciplines, clients and families/caregivers
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Communication Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA-approved program
- Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology from the California Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Board
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
